Department Summary

WellSpan Interventional Pain Management, a service of York Hospital: Offers interventional pain management by dedicated staff, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, anesthesiologists, and interventional physiatrists. Services are provided Monday through Friday and on weekends by appointment only, located at 228 St. Charles Way, Suite 100.

General Summary

Assesses patients, performs treatments, administers medications and instructs patients and their families in appropriate care. Meets established Standards of Nursing Practice in the management of assigned patients. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, JCAHO standards and professional and ethical practice.
