Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Full-Time | Outpatient Clinic | 808 B Street Suite A St. Albans, WV 25177

At Teays Physical Therapy Center, you'll join a collaborative outpatient team providing personalized care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Our St. Albans clinic offers comprehensive rehabilitation services including orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury care, balance and fall prevention, hand therapy, pelvic health therapy, concussion therapy, neurorehabilitation, work-related injury rehabilitation, massage therapy, and McKenzie Method treatment. Working under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists, you'll help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based care.

Your Role
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and quality of life.
  • Treat a diverse outpatient caseload including orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, neurological, balance, concussion, and work-related injury patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation utilizing available technology and support resources.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered clinic culture focused on exceptional outcomes and service.
  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current West Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Strong communication and patient relationship-building skills.
  • New graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply.
