We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support an adult male client with cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, chronic brain syndrome, who is deaf and non-verbal. The client uses a wheelchair and communicates through sounds and gestures. The ideal candidate will be attentive, engaging, and committed to supporting the client’s independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Assist with morning routine: getting out of bed, personal hygiene, and dressing
Prepare and assist with meals
Provide support with mobility and safe transfers
Accompany client to community outings and medical appointments
Engage in meaningful activities and provide companionship
Monitor for seizure activity and respond appropriately

Requirements:

Experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities
Ability to assist with lifting/transfers
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must pass a Level 2 background check

Schedule:

Saturdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with potential for additional days)
Part-Time

Compensación: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
