Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $84,000.00/Yr. - USD $139,950.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

  • Independently apply electrical and electronic theory to develop, refurbish, and verify C5ISR systems
  • Producing custom engineering solutions, generating technical documentation, and delivering curriculum‑level training to field personnel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical, business, or computer‑science/IT (ABET/CAE) or an associate degree with four years experience or six  years of experience
  • Active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance
  • Three or more productive years performing journeyman‑level electrical‑engineering duties

Desired Skills

  • PE license or relevant DoD certification is advantageous
  • Ability to read, create, and troubleshoot schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts
  • Proficiency with bench‑level test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers)
  • Experience developing and delivering technical training modules and hands‑on labs
  • Knowledge of DoD communication system requirements and relevant MIL‑STD specifications
  • Strong technical writing skills for engineering reports, test plans, and training manuals
  • Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with cross‑functional teams

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY

Travel Requirements

  • Domestic travel up to 10% of the year (≈ 2 weeks)
  • International travel less than 5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
