KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Program Manager, Senior, to join our team. This position will require at least three days a week of onsite work at Webster Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, MD. This position is contingent on contract award. 

Established in July 2013, KAIROS, Inc. is a growing Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in Life Cycle Program Management, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Logistics and Sustainment, Enterprise Platforms and AI, and Additive Manufacturing services focused on optimizing customers’ program performance and mission through proven methodologies and ethical practices. This position will serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort, overseeing contractor performance and deliverables. Supports the GPL in addressing technical, program, and project-related issues and objectives.

Primary Duties:
  • Directs, coordinates, and supervises the work of contractor personnel, ensuring efficient program and project operations.
  • Organizes, plans, and oversees the production of all contract and subcontract support activities, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary requirements.
  • Maintains and updates the personnel charging Staffing Plan
  • Creates detailed breakdowns of TDL and project funding per Contract Line Item Number (CLIN)/Sub-Line Item Number (SLIN)/Accounting Classification Reference Number (ACRN).

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently
  • Ability to oversee and manage the efforts of less senior staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to improve business processes and practices to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
  • Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues

​Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline
  • In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor's degree plus four years of additional work experience may be substituted
  • 10 (Ten) or more years of experience leading and managing contracted efforts, overseeing contractor performance and deliverables
Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $172,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
