Material Handler

Job Summary- 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support daily operations by moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient production and shipping processes.

The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity. Candidates with experience as a Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, Shipping and Receiving Associate, Material Handler, or Warehouse Worker are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Material Handling & Forklift Operations

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Stage materials for production, shipping, and storage areas.
• Move raw materials, finished goods, and scrap to designated locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain proper material flow to support production schedules.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials against paperwork and report discrepancies.

Equipment & Inventory Control

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Ensure accurate movement and storage of materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Wear required PPE and comply with all safety standards.
• Support a team-oriented and productive work environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment.
• PPE required, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and other required protective equipment.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented operation.
