Full-Time Housekeeper

Do you take pride in being organized and tidy? We have a job for you! Saint Meinrad Archabbey is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper. This role will help in keeping our buildings, guest rooms, and offices looking clean and beautiful.

Typical hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm CT, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Available for weekend work when required.
• Using reservation software to create and print daily housekeeping boards and to mark rooms clean.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Clean kitchen drive trash barrels quarterly
• Restock lines, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
• Clean and check all HVAC vents
• Remove debris and/or snow from entry ways
• Use washing machines when needed
• Request repair services
• Deliver refrigerators, ironing boards, and rollaway beds to guests' room 
• Disinfect public restrooms and guest bathrooms.
• Move and arrange furniture
• Report damage, theft, and found articles.

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Ability to operate housekeeping mechanical cleaning equipment
• Valid State of Indiana driver's license and clean MVR
• Up to 3 months' experience is preferred
