Block- Class A CDL Operator

SRM Materials is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Operator to safely transport Block from the plant to customers and/or jobsites—playing a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A  truck, transporting Block from the plant to offsite locations.
• Vehicle safety and compliance.
• Accurately complete and maintain logbooks, delivery documentation, and other required paperwork in line with company policies and DOT regulations.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and provide updates on route progress.
• Ensure secure loading and unloading of cement, preventing spillage or contamination.
• Follow established routes, schedules, and safety procedures for transporting materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service at delivery sites, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism.
• Promptly report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage.
• Stay current on safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

What Sets You Apart

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). 
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience driving Class A truck.
• Clean driving record with no serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for material transport.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and climbing.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with plant personnel and customers.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
• Positive, “go-getter” attitude and commitment to SRM’s 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter.
