Pay: 22.50 hourly

About the Role 

You'll be part of a team that takes pride in building high-quality, dependable products with a strong legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Responsibilities 

  • Load, unload, and move material to storage. 
  • Count, weigh, and record pieces of materials to be moved. 
  • Assist with inventories, when needed. 
  • Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, and racks, as needed. 
  • Use a picklist to prepare loads to transport to the manufacturing facility. 
  • Utilize handheld scanners in support of warehouse management systems. 
  • Operate a stand-up and/or sit-down forklift or pallet jack. 
  • Clean work area and maintain walkways free of litter and clutter, clean machines, sweep aluminum chips and other debris, keep personal effects stored appropriately.  
  • Participate in daily morning meetings including stretching activities, assist with incident investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality improvements.  
  • Follow all internal processes and procedures including incident reporting, rework escalation, and stop-call-wait. 
  • Assist in training other employees on equipment and department procedures, engage in effective conversations with team members and leaders, escalate and discuss issues or potential issues to leads and supervisors. 
  • Aid in other areas, as needed.

 

Job Requirements 

Required 

  • 1 year warehousing experience. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification as a forklift operator; certification provided onsite. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Team player
  • Regular and reliable attendance. 

Preferred 

  • Forklift experience
  • Greater than 1 year experience working in a warehouse. 
  • Demonstrated dependability in previous employment.
