Job DetailsJob Location: Saint Albans, VT 05478Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.50 - $20.50 HourlyOur Billing Team at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a full-time Billing Generalist. As a Billing Generalist, you will be an intricate member of our team. This position will be responsible for reviewing and researching insurance information while maintaining that information in our electronic medical record. Essential duties include: Adding Insurance information to our Electronic Medical Record system Support clients and treatment teams with Medicaid enrollment Verifying Insurance Eligibility Assisting with Client Statements Auditing for Billing Compliance Requirements: Strong customer service skills Positive attitude Ability to work independently and with a variety of personalities High School Diploma or equivalent Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products including Outlook and Excel Ability to maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment honoring strict confidentiality laws Must be organized and have a strong attention to detail At NCSS, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes perks such as medical and dental coverage, an employer-matched retirement plan, and educational support.
