Minimally Invasive Vascular is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Scrub Technologist to support our physicians and clinical team during diagnostic and interventional procedures. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-focused procedural environment.

Position Summary
The Interventional Radiology Scrub Technologist is responsible for preparing procedure rooms, maintaining sterile technique, assisting physicians during minimally invasive vascular procedures, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are available to support safe, efficient patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Essential Responsibilities
Procedural Support
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to scheduled procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Scrub and assist physicians during vascular and interventional radiology procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Anticipate physician needs and efficiently provide instruments, devices, and supplies.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfers before and after procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Handle specimens according to established protocols.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist with room turnover and preparation between cases.
Patient Care & Safety
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Promote a culture of safety, compassion, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist with patient preparation and monitoring activities as directed by the clinical team.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Observe patient condition during procedures and communicate concerns promptly to the physician or nursing staff.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety standards.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Inventory & Equipment Management
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Monitor and maintain inventory of procedural supplies and equipment.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist with stocking procedure rooms and clinical areas.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and available for scheduled procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Report equipment concerns and coordinate service needs as appropriate.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Documentation & Compliance
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain accurate procedure logs and required documentation.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ensure compliance with practice policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Current Surgical Technologist certification or equivalent procedural scrub experience.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Current BLS certification.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Knowledge of sterile technique and procedural assisting.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records.
Preferred
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Cath Lab, Endovascular Procedures, or Surgical Services.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽ACLS certification.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience scrubbing vascular interventions and image-guided procedures.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience working in an outpatient procedural setting.
