Location: St. Augustine, FL - The Arc of the St. Johns, Therapeutic Learning Center  Key Responsibilities: • Implement treatment program and protocols created by the supervising BCBA - Organize and update program supplies, monitor client behavior and skills, and maintain accurate data records. • Provide one on one therapy sessions working closely with individuals impacted by autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disorders in various settings, including schools, homes, and community locations. • Data collection, analysis, collaboration, and documentation • Adhere to HIPPA regulations with handling sensitive client information • Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene and mealtimes. • Collaborate with Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Education Staff, and others as required. • Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to provide insight into specific client programs and treatment protocols. • Participate in monthly team meetings and training sessions. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job. Ideal Candidate: • Professionalism - Must have the ability to keep a positive affect, demonstrate a high level of professionalism, and remain calm and composed in high-stress situations with clients in various settings. • Reliability - Demonstrate reliability in attending scheduled sessions and maintain consistency. • Ideal for candidates seeking BCBA certification supervision hours or training in Applied Behavior Analysis. • Excellent experience for those aspiring to become Behavior Analysts, Special Education Teachers, Educators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers. • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
