What You’ll Do

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving care. No two days are exactly alike. You'll work alongside clinicians, nurses, and other professionals while helping individuals build skills, maintain stability, and achieve recovery goals.

How You'll Make a Difference....

  • Supporting clients in daily routines and recovery-focused activities
  • Helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
  • Leading or assisting with group activities and educational sessions
  • Observing, documenting, and communicating client behaviors to the treatment team
  • Assisting with admissions, orientations, and safety procedures
  • Responding calmly and appropriately to crisis situations
  • Providing transportation support when needed
  • Working closely with nurses, clinicians, and other team members to support treatment plans
  • Building respectful, supportive relationships with the individuals we serve

     

What We’re Looking For

To get started in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of responsible work experience in any industry
  • A desire to help others in recovery
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
     

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience in mental health, human services, healthcare, customer service, education, residential care, direct support, or other people-focused roles
