Lead Teacher

Little Guppy's is a licensed childcare center seeking Full-time Lead Teachers to support our Infant and Two-Year-Old classrooms!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday,  8am-5pm

Compensation: $15-$18/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the classroom.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. 
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
