First State Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative onsite at our West Clay location. If you have experience administering all types of loans for both portfolio and secondary market loans, this may be a good fit for you! 

40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Loan Servicing Representative will perform all duties required of this position by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank, including, but not limited to:

  1. Maintain insurance tickler system and filing to all loan files in a timely fashion.
  2. Maintain Flood Monitoring and compliance.
  3. Process and update Escrow system, review and update Escrow reports, and utilize the Escrow module within Fiserv.
  4. Process payments and other ticket items using the branch capture system.
  5. Maintain organization in files and within the vault including the paid out files.
  6. Pull, review, and organize files for audits
  7. Prepare releases and subordinations for recording, then record using the e-record system, Simplifile.
  8. Work all paid out loans, process refunds and send appropriate documentation to the title company.
  9. Prepare payoff letters and process payoff when received.
  10. Work the tickler system to follow-up on pending items and technical exceptions.
  11. Respond to written credit inquiries.
  12. Work with Lenders and supervisors on special projects as necessary.
  13. Coordinate renewals and new loans through the Missouri MO Bucks Program.
  14. Provide additional support to processors by processing wires and follow up post-closing.
  15. Assist with end of year procedures, mainly payout of all escrowed taxes in a timely manner. 
  16. Manage supplies for the loan department.
  17. Complete all required compliance training and complies with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act, as well as all regulations which apply within the scope of the position. 
  18. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training required.
