Position Summary | Provide pediatric therapy to children ages 0-15 with a variety of diagnoses. Services may be delivered in our outpatient clinic and early intervention classrooms. The therapist is responsible for administering a range of pediatric assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and delivery of therapy. | ||

Education Qualifications | National certification by the NBCOT, a valid Missouri state license | ||
Experience Qualifications | Minimum of three years’ experience in pediatrics preferred. | ||
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable of service delivery models for OT. Must understand and be familiar with HIPPA and insurance requirements for the delivery of outpatient services and be able to deliver occupational therapy services. Skills: Requires organizational skills to manage multiple projects, assess current needs, and plan for the future. Must be able to research and incorporate findings into practice, articulate thoughts/ideas for general understanding, coach employees for performance, and value others’ strengths and contributions. Must be able to supervise others. Abilities: Must be able to establish rapport with children and co-workers and work as a member of a professional team. Must be able to adapt to new opportunities and challenges with positivity. Must be able to keep the mission of the organization at the center of all decisions and duties. |
