Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Operation Center - Saint Clair Shores, MI 48080Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Information TechnologyFIRST STATE BANK – JOB DESCRIPTION   JOB TITLE:     IT Application Support Specialist    STATUS:      Non-Exempt      DEPARTMENT:     Information Technology REPORTS TO:     Information Technology ________________________________________   PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure smooth and effective operations of banking systems including core banking applications, software applications, computer platforms, etc., through direct and indirect actions by working closely with bank personnel, leadership, and outside resources to enable and improve the business process through technology. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: •    Manage Core Banking applications including security specifications (Fiserv) •    Perform troubleshooting, testing, problem solving, installation, and upgrades for Fiserv and other ancillary applications •    Plan, organize, and direct the completion of Application projects •    Develop and distribute critical employee communications for new and existing software, implement new features, and evaluate software and product updates •     Manage Core Reporting, file delivery, and job processing including COLD Storage (Fiserv Director) •    Manage suite of Fiserv on premise application servers •    Manage file and data transfer between the Fiserv Data Center and banking systems (COF, payroll files, etc.)  •    Manage Statement Processing (physical and online statements, notices, and email notifications) •    Manage components of the Microsoft 365 suite (FSB Portal/SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc.) •    Audit user access on Core System (Navigator, Director, Teller, etc.) and ancillary systems (Federal Reserve, Instant Issue Card Services, DocuSign, Box.com, etc.) •    Manage and perform special access requirements for Core Systems (Navigator, Director, Teller, etc.) and ancillary systems (Federal Reserve, Instant Issue Card Services, DocuSign, Box.com, etc.) •    Serve as the escalation point for complex application issues requiring advanced troubleshooting or modification (Fiserv, SharePoint, ect.) •    Work closely with all departments to identify and implement efficiencies and process gains •    Actively involved in Business Continuity exercises and events  •    Maintain and monitor relationships with key technology vendors and work with them to resolve problems •    Monitor First State Bank Helpdesk and Fiserv Core ticketing systems •    Assist with multi-media content for employee photos, live streaming, and bank sponsored events •    Requires after-hours availability to provide remote support via VPN (all access support) •    Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with co-workers while maintaining timely and prompt daily attendance   OTHER DUTIES: •    Other duties as assigned   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: •    Three to five years Bank related experience, Operations preferred  •    Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools and their practical use in the workplace. •    Excellent oral and written communications skills •    Strong knowledge of data processing operations •    Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Core Banking applications •    Project Management •    Expense Tracking •    Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously •    Ability to train others and work effectively with other departments   REQUIRED EDUCATION: •    High school diploma or equivalency (GED) •    Specialized training such as that acquired in up to one year of college, technical, vocational, trade or business school  •    FISERV Specialized training preferred  •    Proficiency using Microsoft Windows/Office and bank technology   WORKING CONDITIONS: •    Ability to enter data into a computer and work with computer programs: Microsoft Word and Excel •    Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time •    Ability to reach with hands and fingers, touching computer buttons/adding machine buttons for extended periods of time •    Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU: •    Working with an energetic team focused on making our customers financially successful! •    An opportunity to grow your career and do amazing things! •    Collaborative and energetic work environment •    Incentive program based on performance •    Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays for Full Time/Part Time Employees •    Paid time to support your community! •    Health, Dental, Vision (Full Time) •    401K match and Life Insurance (Full Time /Part Time Employees) •    Educational Assistance Program (Full Time/ Part Time Employees) •    Employee Assistance Program Employees are expected to comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures, including specifically First State Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policy and procedures, and it’s Customer Identification Program.  Failure to comply with either the letter and/or spirit of these laws may result in disciplinary action, up to an including termination.    This job description does not list all the duties of the job.
