A Nursing Assistant plays an essential role in supporting people who need help with everyday activities and personal care. St. Cloud Hospital currently has both part-time and full-time opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you’ll be considered for all Nursing Assistant openings at the hospital. During the application process, you can share your availability and indicate your preferred unit or department, while we can't guarantee an opening in that unit we will take it into consideration. We offer a variety of shifts and schedules, including days, evenings, and overnights, with options such as every other or every third weekend.

Here are some ways you’ll serve those we care for:

  • Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living), which include bathing, brushing teeth, toileting, feeding, and more
  • Critical monitoring, like measuring blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration – so we can better assess their health
  • Promote comfort, and express compassion and empathy
  • Transport them to appointments and meals

Schedule:

Most positions follow a consistent 8- or 12-hour schedule, as outlined below. Some roles may offer slightly different start and end times.

  • Day shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

  • Evening shifts: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

  • Night shifts: 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

  • Flexible scheduling options are also available, including combinations of the shifts listed above.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $20.09 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
    • Pay range:  $19.15 - $29.28 per hour

Qualifications:

  • CNA license is not required but is welcome.
  • Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification may be required, if hired into a department that does require it, it can be obtained upon hire.
