Join our team as a 2nd shift Melt Supervisor! Salary range offered is $75,000-$87,000 annually.
Supervise Melt operations by setting goals, organizing and assigning work, selecting and developing employees, and maintaining a productive work environment to meet established production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise melt operations on your assigned shift to achieve production, safety, and quality goals.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily melt operations while maintaining production schedules.
- Create and maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with all safety requirements.
- Train and develop team members on safety procedures, quality standards, and job-specific responsibilities.
- Evaluate employee performance related to safety, quality, attendance, and overall job performance, providing coaching, counseling, or corrective action when needed.
- Assist with planning and coordinating major equipment rebuilds and relines.
- Support budgeting, inventory management, cost control, and the evaluation of new methods and materials to improve operations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Maintain adequate raw materials, supplies, and tools to support production needs.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Foster open communication with leadership, peers, production teams, and cross-functional departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, work rules, and regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a culture of safety.

What We Need From You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Three to five years of manufacturing or industrial leadership experience, preferably in melt, foundry, or heavy manufacturing operations.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees in a production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience coordinating production activities while balancing safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Working knowledge of inventory control, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to wear all required PPE.
