Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently to maximize flat rate productivity
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical repairs
- Follow all shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Meet or exceed flat rate hour goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician in a flat rate environment
- ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
- Must provide own set of professional hand tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
