The PTA will assist physical therapists in developing and executing physical therapy treatment programs and procedures, providing direct patient care service. Job Duties: 路 Provides physical therapy services directly to patients, under the supervision of an onsite physical therapist according to the established plan set forth by the physical therapist. 路 Works effectively as a team with the physical therapist and other staff members. Discusses and coordinates patient care with the physical therapist. 路 Communicates professionally, properly and effectively with patients, family members and staff. 路 Educates patients and family members about patient care plans and goals, including patient safety. 路 Works effectively and efficiently with the electronic medical record. Documents patient visits and reports in a timely manner. 路 Helps perform other staff duties to ensure the clinic runs well and is clean QualificationsQualifications: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program Current Utah Physical Therapy Assistant License Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications for health care providers Computer skills to document electronic medical records Prior Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, or Medical Experience preferred, but not required
