We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant II for our Baptist Primary Care, Silverleaf office located in St. Johns, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.

The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Experience is preferred.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

Provides medical assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

3-5 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
