Position Summary
Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts using MIG and/or TIG process. The work is repetitive in nature and requires a strong sense of details. Responsibility to perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by your supervisor may be required.
Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand.Ā
- Read & interpret blueprints and or drawings to determine the specific welding requiredĀ
- MIG or TIG weld Steel, Aluminum or stainless steelĀ
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standardsĀ
- Must wear PPE to include but not limited to welding helmet and welding glovesĀ
- Must be able to use precision measuring tool to inspect grooves and anglesĀ
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.Ā
- Follow company rules and policiesĀ
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given taskĀ
- Follow safety rules and quality standardsĀ
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiencyĀ
- Must have the ability to communicate in a clear and professional mannerĀ
- Must show up at work on time and as scheduled.Ā

Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferredĀ
- One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience requiredĀ
- Two years of experience with MIG or TIG welding requiredĀ
- Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferredĀ
- Current & valid certification a plusĀ
- Ability to read blue printsĀ
- Basic math skills

Work Environment
This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas.
