Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter


 

Schedule: Full Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday 

 

Position Summary: 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter is a motivated, relationship-driven member of the Human Resources team. This role will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and primarily support recruiting efforts for manufacturing, skilled trades, warehouse, customer service, clerical, and administrative positions while delivering exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through offer acceptance. This individual will partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, identify top talent, conduct candidate evaluations, and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and enjoys building relationships while recruiting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Position Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for manufacturing, skilled trades, warehouse, customer service, clerical, and administrative positions. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities. 
  • Develop sourcing strategies to identify qualified active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, networking, social media, career fairs, trade schools, and community partnerships. 
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and evaluate candidates against position requirements. 
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers while ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience. 
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ADP Workforce Now preferred). 
  • Prepare offer recommendations and partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Manager throughout the offer process. 
  • Manage all pre-employment screening activities. 
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring manufacturing and administrative hiring needs. 
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to hiring managers. 
  • Represent LECO at career fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting events. 
  • Provide outstanding customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and employees throughout the recruiting process. 


Position Requirements: 

  • 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, warehouse, or administrative positions. 
  • Experience sourcing candidates using recruiting tools
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions while balancing other talent recruitment priorities. 
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred). 
  • Interviewing and candidate assessment skills. 
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative HR team. 
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and recommend improvements to hiring strategies. 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience. 
  • Experience recruiting hourly production employees, skilled trades, technicians, and administrative professionals. 
  • Experience using recruiting tools or other advanced sourcing platforms. 
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices. 
  • Experience supporting employer branding or recruiting marketing initiatives.

 

 

Education/Certifications: 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent recruiting experience will also be considered.
