Outside Sales Representative
Restoration Business Development | Field-Based Referral Sales
About Implement4
Implement4 is a recruitment agency working on behalf of a growing restoration and reconstruction company seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop referral relationships and generate residential restoration opportunities in an assigned market.
This is a confidential search. Company-identifying details will be shared with qualified candidates later in the process.
The Opportunity
This is a field-based sales role for someone who would rather be in the market building relationships than sitting behind a desk. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing a referral network of insurance agents, brokers, adjusters, property managers, and related community contacts who can refer water, fire, mold, storm, and reconstruction opportunities when property losses occur.
The right person will be comfortable walking into offices, introducing themselves, building trust over time, and staying visible with referral partners on a consistent cycle. This role is not built around cold calls from a desk. It is built around in-person activity, relationship follow-up, CRM discipline, and becoming the first call when a homeowner or property manager needs help after a loss.
Restoration experience is helpful, but not required. The company is more interested in a hungry, organized, relationship-driven seller who knows how to generate new business and stay consistent long enough to build a real book of referral partners.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Develop and manage an assigned sales territory
Build a target list of insurance agents, brokers, adjusters, property managers, and other referral sources
Conduct consistent in-person visits with referral partners throughout the market
Create a regular contact cycle so key referral sources hear from you consistently
Build a book of 30–50 active referral partners over time
Generate residential restoration opportunities through relationship-based selling
Maintain communication with referral partners after a job is referred
Provide updates to referral sources so they know their clients are being taken care of
Represent the company at lunches, coffees, networking events, association meetings, CE events, community events, and other relationship-building opportunities
Log sales activity, contact updates, follow-ups, and referral information in the CRM
Bring a weekly territory plan to sales leadership, including completed activity and upcoming visits
Support increased market activity during storm or catastrophe events
Work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours when relationship-building or weather events require it
What the Role Looks Like Day to Day
This is a high-activity, field-first sales role. Most of the week will be spent driving the territory, walking into referral-source offices, meeting decision-makers, following up with existing contacts, and creating reasons to come back.
The right person will be expected to manage a large contact list without constant reminders. They will need to stay organized, keep accurate CRM notes, and maintain a recurring visit rhythm with agents, brokers, property managers, adjusters, and other referral partners.
When a referral partner sends a job, the sales representative is expected to stay involved in the communication loop. Strong referral partners continue referring when they know their customers are being handled professionally, quickly, and with care.

The best fit for this role will be someone who:

Uses CRM because it helps them win, not because management asks
Understands that relationships are built over repeated contact
Cares about the customer experience after the referral is made

Is willing to work when storms, emergencies, or major loss events create opportunity

This role offers:
$50,000 base salary

Structured onboarding and field coaching

The base salary is designed to support the ramp period while the representative builds a referral network. The long-term upside comes from consistent activity, referral partner development, and commissionable production.
Growth Opportunity
Once a representative builds a strong book of active referral partners, there are multiple paths for growth. A successful sales representative may continue compounding their territory, move into larger commercial referral channels, or build a specialized vertical such as property management, multi-family, healthcare, schools, senior living, municipalities, or other commercial segments.
Why This Role Is Compelling
This is a strong fit for a salesperson who wants a real territory, a company vehicle, a clear target list, structured coaching, and the ability to build a durable book of referral relationships. The company is looking for someone who will do the fieldwork consistently and take pride in becoming the trusted contact referral partners call when their clients need restoration help.
For the right person, this role offers stability through the base salary, upside through uncapped commission, and a career path into larger accounts and more advanced restoration sales.
