Job Summary:
The Carpenter Foreman leads and develops a field crew of carpenters and laborers while ensuring all carpentry work is completed safely, efficiently, and within the project budget. This role requires hands-on carpentry expertise, strong leadership, proactive planning, and strict adherence to Raineri Construction’s safety and quality standards.Â
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leadership, mentorship & supervision of field crewÂ
- Ensure safety, enforce PPE use and compliance.Â
- Maintain inventory and readiness of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform and oversee all self-perform rough and finish carpentry - i.e., framing, blocking, casework, backing, and temporary protection.
- Responsible for all self-perform man-hour tracking and production control.
- Proactive coordination and communication with Superintendents and Project Managers regarding scheduling needs, scheduling issues, and potential scope or budget gaps.
- Quality control and documentation Â
Required Education/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on construction projects.
- One year or more of experience managing and directing others preferred.
- Intermediate or above computer skills, including basic use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required; Procore experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- Has completed, or will complete within the first workweek, the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Course (If needed, Raineri will provide training at no cost)
