Job Summary

St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School is seeking a caring, responsible, and dependable Club Tobias Aftercare Aide to support students in our after‑school program. The Aftercare Aide helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that reflects and supports the mission and values of our Catholic school community.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise and actively engage with students during after‑school program hours
Assist with snack time, homework support, indoor and outdoor play, and organized activities
Monitor student behavior and ensure the safety and well‑being of all students
Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and parents
Communicate effectively with the After Care Coordinator, teachers, and parents
Assist with cleaning and organizing the aftercare space before and after program hours
Follow all school policies and procedures, including emergency and safety protocols

Job Requirements

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work effectively with children in a group setting
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Warm, patient, and consistent interactions with students
Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education

Preferred:

Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or camp setting
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
