Job Summary: The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that an organization’s computers, software, and related technology run smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware or software systems
Consulting with users over the phone or in person to understand and troubleshoot technical issues.
Document technical support procedures through ticketing system
Setup and configure workstations with computers and other necessary equipment
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Exceptional communication skills
Strong work ethic
2 years’ experience with the following: Active Directory, Microsoft 365 suite, Windows 10, Windows Server (bonus), SharePoint, Desktop Support, Help Desk
Previous experience in IT or related field
Associate’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
