Position Summary:

The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in all of the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, benefits administration, etc. The HR Generalist provides administrative support to the human resources functions as needed. The HR Generalist will have primary responsibility for training new staff during onboarding and providing feedback and coaching as part of continuous quality improvement.

Essential Functions:

• Supports the Director of HR to deliver HR programs, services, and solutions.

• Assists with all recruiting efforts: searching and contacting qualified candidates, reviewing applicants, setting up interviews, etc.

• Conducts initial phone interviews for potential candidates.

• Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation and exit interviews.

• Processes employee paperwork (new hire, termination, etc.).

• Partners with employees and management to ensure company policies, procedures, employment laws, and government regulations are followed to create a fair and consistent work environment.

• Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on employment verifications and job openings.

• Coordinates strategies for employee training and development.

• Oversees coordination of E-Learning Management System Relias.

• Assists in supporting that organizational training is delivered to meet appropriate standards as set by DMH, CARF, AAS, and HITRUST accredited bodies.

• Serves as liaison between employees and management as it relates to training issues and process improvement concerns.

• Maintains confidential department records and office files in accordance with internal company procedures.

• Assists with projects, events and assignments as needed.

• Committed to ongoing professional and educational development. Participates in training, seminars, functions, and events.

• Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned within area of expertise or scope of the position.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of three-years’ experience in Human Resources.

• Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.

• Exemplary organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to communicate with staff of all levels in the organization.

• Adept at using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite products.
