Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Pharmacy Technician - Retail 3, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, performs all of the level I and II retail technician functions. This position is also responsible for managing billing and reconciliation, assumes primary responsibility for a specific task or function, and completes administrative responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Handles all Retail Pharmacy Technician I and II responsibilities, to include clerical duties, data entry, cash handling & reconciliation, inventory management, advanced compounding and orientation/training of new team members.
  • Manages patient & internal billing and reconciliation.
  • Assumes primary responsibility for a specific task, function or area of specialty which could include but is not limited to purchasing, automation, shipping, or lead technician for a specific area of workflow.
  • Performs administrative responsibilities that include, but are not limited to responding to insurance audits, supply management and bank deposits.
