This position is responsible for researching, writing and producing donor-centered communication pieces, including patient and donor-based editorial needs for St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation. The ideal candidate is collaborative and eager to play an integral role in supporting the mission and goals of St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Monday-Friday remote position with occasional onsite requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Provides input to help plan, develop, implement and measure marketing and public relations programs and plans for the hospital (and clinical service lines) or the service organization. Develops strategic marketing recommendations such as marketing promotions, internal and external communications, media relations, community education, web site and advertising to support marketing objectives, short-term, and long-term business goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements marketing and advertising plans for assigned services.
  • Oversees editorial and production duties for print and marketing materials, including planning, research and content.
  • Establishes and fosters appropriate and mutually beneficial community partnership opportunities with local organizations and or businesses and oversees these related marketing efforts.
  • Evaluates and responds to e-marketing needs and opportunities, as they relate to hospital's web sites and social media.
  • Develops communication strategies and plans for hospital-wide initiatives and priorities and provides crisis communication support to department as needed.
