Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Install, maintain, and repair various facility HVAC, refrigeration, and specialty systems such as medical gas and fire protection systems including distribution piping and electro-mechanical equipment and devices. Accomplishes the most difficult repairs and overhauls on any of the mechanical equipment in any facility in the system.

 

Responsibilities

  • Keeps equipment clean and operational. Handles and disposes of hazardous and or infectious waste properly and practices infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines.
  • Repairs and maintains all aspects of the facility's heating, ventilation and air conditioning, medical gas, fluid equipment distribution and fire protection systems.
  • Performs routine preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems and equipment including calibration, alignment, and balancing.
  • Ensures all completed assignments meet all applicable code requirements.
  • Operates building automation system and makes modifications and additions to the system as required.
