Objectives of this Role
Â
- Serve customers by managing documents, information, and financial transactions successfully and in an organized, efficient, and secure manner
- Build awareness of new products and services, and identify customer needs to capitalize on the business referral opportunities
- Work as a team with other branch employees to complete daily tasks all while demonstrating respect and professionalism, being prompt, and supporting management with special request as needed
- Protect the interests of the Bank by adhering to all security, regulatory and audit procedures. This includes accurately balancing of assigned drawers to include the ATM, Vault, TCR, etc. Maintain proper dual control as required, verification of customer transactions and placing appropriate holds.

Essential Functions
Â
- Manages risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, executing sound judgment within established limits. Possess a heightened awareness to identify and avoid loss. Ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.

- Ensure excellent customer service is followed including handling escalated teller customer complaints.
- Identify customer needs, provide information on new products and services, and direct customers to branch representatives and branch partners as identified.

- Ability to understand and educate clients on use of alternative channels to complete banking transactions (ATM, Online banking, Mobile Banking). Has the ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.

- Can be flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.

- Assure branch compliance by performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, monthly and quarterly teller drawer audits, alarm tests, fraud prevention training, ATM balancing and local, state and federal regulation training.Â

Skills and Qualifications

- High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required;
- A minimum of four years of experience in financial services
- A minimum of two years of management experience
- Communicates effectively and confidently; comfortable engaging all clients.
- Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to pass a background check
