This is Butler’s Pantry.
And we are looking for someone who lives to serve and knows that teamwork is the foundation of success to join our team as a Prep Cook.
Our Prep Cook ensures all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet the specifications and commitment to quality set forth by Butler’s Pantry.Â

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
GET THE JOB DONE (The necessary stuff)
- Arrive at your station ready to work at scheduled time and in proper uniformÂ
- Complete prep lists in an efficient, timely manner
- Use culinary knowledge in combination with company recipes when prepping or assisting with any other production step to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly
- Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards and perform portion control testsÂ
- Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a “like new” conditionÂ
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and be a good example to fellow employees to do the same
- Practice sanitation and food safety at all times Â
Additional Qualifications and Requirements:
- Culinary experience with a caterer or restaurant
- Ability to chop, dice, measure, read prep lists, and follow instruction
- Safe food handling and safety is a top priorityÂ
- Professional appearance and conductÂ
- Capable of executing and following recipes
- Team player
- Ability to handle a physically demanding role (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads)
- Ability to work a flexible and sometimes non-traditional schedule based on event demands
- Hepatitis A Vaccination required
- ServSafe Certification preferred
