HVAC Technician

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Old Souls Farm.

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing

heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

The ideal candidate for this position is a reliable professional with experience in HVAC

systems.

You should have a problem-solving attitude, excellent communication skills, and a deep

understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units,

heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.

• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for any problems.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems.

• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and

Safety Act.

• Record HVAC maintenance and repair work performed and keep a record of the type

and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.

• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.

• Working knowledge of boiler systems.

• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work i n confined spaces.

• Valid driver's license.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance

technology or relevant field will b e a plus.

• Job Title: HVAC Technician

• Work Environment: This position requires mostly indoor and some outdoor work, in

all weather conditions. It also includes occasional heavy lifting.

• Reporting Structure: Reports to the Maintenance Manager.

• Salary: Salary i s based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well a s

market and business considerations.

• Pay Range: $45/hr + DOE
