Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Home Care services. Residents enjoy access to amenities including a fitness center, pool, pub, theater, and gourmet dining. We are currently hiring a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our residents, staff, and visitors enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role oversees housekeeping operations within our skilled nursing and assisted living communities while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, infection control, safety, and resident satisfaction. Wage: $24.00-$31.25/hr. DOE Schedule: Day 1.0 FTE  What You’ll Do Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality performance and consistent cleaning standards Develop staff schedules and maintain appropriate coverage to meet the needs of the community Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment Develop and maintain cleaning procedures that meet healthcare, infection control, and safety standards Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces are properly cleaned and sanitized Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure cleanliness and regulatory standards are consistently met Maintain required documentation, including cleaning schedules, training records, and compliance reports Work closely with leadership and other departments to support overall facility operations Communicate with residents, families, and staff regarding housekeeping needs or concerns Respond promptly and professionally to resident and family requests Provide ongoing training on infection control, safety procedures, cleaning practices, and proper use of equipment and chemicals Establish department goals and monitor performance to identify opportunities for improvement Implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high-quality housekeeping services Support special cleaning requests and accommodations based on individual resident needs Assist with budget management, supplies, equipment, and resource allocation as needed What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required 5–7 years of housekeeping management experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, skilled nursing, or assisted living Previous experience supervising, training, and developing housekeeping or custodial staff Strong knowledge of cleaning practices, infection control procedures, and regulatory compliance Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work professionally with residents, families, staff, and leadership Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Proficiency in spoken and written English to support safe resident care, accurate documentation, and effective communication with residents, families, and the care team Preferred: Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare facility cleanliness and infection control Preferred: Experience with budget management and resource allocation Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare safety and emergency procedures Preferred: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, and transport housekeeping supplies and equipment Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements Ability to work in a fast-paced senior living and healthcare environment Regular interaction with residents, families, employees, and leadership Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying environmental conditions Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as operational needs require "At Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, we value a diverse, inclusive workforce and we provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
