About the role

  • Answers incoming calls related to technology issues and requests from Bethel community members.
  • Gathers information from customers to facilitate troubleshooting process.
  • Provides Tier 1 support including solutions to common problems and fulfilling requests for service, equipment, etc.
  • Documents case information thoroughly and correctly to facilitate case tracking and reference.
  • Submits new and edits existing knowledge base documentation.
  • Provides prompt, excellent service to telephone and walk-in customers.

  • Must be a current sMust be reliable (show up on time, stay on task, notify me before an absence)
  • Must be motivated to learn
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must work well with other students
  • Must be able to take direction from multiple Staff employees
  • Must be able to communicate in a professional manner to Bethel community members.
  • Ability to research solutions to new or difficult problems.
