Position Summary:
Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated clinical pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and clinical expertise to patients on our inpatient mental health services and in our long-acting injectable (LAI) clinic. The ideal candidate for this position will provide comprehensive pharmacotherapy management for patients with psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. This role collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication outcomes, improve patient safety, and support recovery-oriented, patient-centered care. Additional responsibilities will include teaching and precepting, verifying orders, completing appropriate medication histories, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information to healthcare providers, and overseeing the work of direct support personnel.

Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:Â
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.Â
- Currently functioning in a decentralized capacity (comparable role), orÂ
Completion of a Post-Doctorate Pharmacy Program (i.e., residency or fellowship, e.g., American Society of Health System Pharmacists [ASHP] accredited PGY1 or PGY2 pharmacy residency), or
BPS Board Certification (e.g., Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist)

Licensure/Registration/Certification:Â
- Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Minnesota
Â
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Â
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.Â
- Ability to meet and maintain departmental productivity standards. Â
- Ability to work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff.Â
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.Â
- Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly to emergency requests.Â
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment.Â
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written).Â
- Ability to meet the pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and other specialty groups (e.g., psychiatric, oncology, obstetric, medical, surgical, and rehabilitation patients).
- Ability to direct the work of others or coordinate workflow in the assigned area.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:Â
- Post-graduate training and/or BPS Board Certification in area of specialty.Â
- Pharmacy experience in Mental Health
- PGY-2 in Psychiatric Pharmacy
- Experience using Epic
