About the role

  • As a Social Media Manager you are responsible for all social media posting for your specific team. This includes gameday (home & away games), weekly, and off-season responsibilities. You will report directly to the Brand Manager (AJ Barrett) and work in conjunction with your specific team’s coaching staff. As Social Media Manager you are committing to work every game for your team. It is expected that you are present at each home game, and for away games you are making sure you’re updating social media effectively as the game progresses. You are not expected to travel for away games but you can if you like to.
  • *Personal Purchase of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite is not required, but is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all: Social Media, Photo, Video, and Design workers*


Qualifications

Must be a current student

Responsibilities (Gamedays/Weekly):

● Live Tweeting:

  • Score Updates, Important Stats, Final Score, etc...

● Clipping & Posting Video Highlights:

  • Used for posting in-game video highlights to social media.

● Social Media Posting (across all platforms):

  • Gameday Graphic
  • Score Updates (Instagram Stories & Twitter)
  • Final Score Graphic w/t photo
  • Post-game content
  • Week-week posting (finding quality content to post during the week)

● Light Graphic Design:

  • Using Photoshop or alternatives such as Gipper or Affinity Photo to edit the

Score Update graphics, Final Score Graphics, and potentially other various

graphics the Brand Manager creates.
