The Mechanical Engineer – Engineered Solutions bridges the gap between custom client requirements and practical machine execution. You will evaluate operational failures, design bespoke mechanical subsystems, perform advanced calculations, and oversee builds from concept to final site installation.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Problem Analysis: Research complex mechanical challenges and define functional requirements for custom equipment or upgrades.Â
- Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools like SolidWorks.Â
- Engineering Calculations: Run analytical checks for stress, thermal expansion, kinematics, and tolerance stacks to ensure structural integrity.Â
- Prototyping & Testing: Build and test prototypes or initial production runs to validate operational performance.Â
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with electrical, controls, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to guide assembly and resolve real-world build issues.Â
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare clear technical reports, bills of materials (BOM), and validation criteria aligned with industry safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in machine design, custom automation, or engineered-to-order systems.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD) and a strong grasp of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of root-cause analysis for mechanical failures and hands-on shop-floor debugging.
- Communication: Strong technical writing and client-facing skills to explain custom engineering concepts clearly
