Our Cooks assure that our students eat better so that they can learn better. We prepare and serve three meals per day year-round in our campus cafeteria. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who make a difference in the lives of at-risk young adults each and every day.

MAIN DUTIES:
•    Ensure proper setup of foods on serving lines and serve foods
•    Adhere to guidelines for food safety and proper food handling
•    Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas
•    Direct and mentor work-based learning and culinary arts students

WORK SCHEDULE:  Full-time working Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:  High school diploma or GED, two years cooking experience, valid ServSafe certification (or become certified within 90 days of hire), and valid Minnesota driver's license with acceptable driving record

PAY AND BENEFITS: $23.05 per hour plus benefits, including 12 paid holidays, vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
