Our cafeteria staff assure that our students eat better so that they can learn better. We prepare and serve three meals per day year-round. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth each and every day.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Oversee cafeteria staff and meal preparation in support of supervisor

• Ensure proper setup of foods on serving lines and serve foods
• Adhere to guidelines for food safety and proper food handling
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas
• Direct and mentor work-based learning and culinary arts students

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, working from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm on Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays, Holidays and Staff Training Days

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED, two years related experience, and ServSafe certification or become certified within 90 days

PAY AND BENEFITS: $25.40 per hour plus full benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
