JOB TITLE: Human Resources Student Assistant LOCATION: St. Paul Campus PAY RATE: $16.50 per hour HOURS: 10-15 hours per week/days and time are flexibleÂ

JOB SUMMARY:The HR Student Assistants will engage in a variety of project-based work that supports the multiple areas that comprise the Office of Human Resources.Â
Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supporting various leaders and staff members within the Office of Human Resources through the completion of administrative tasks and strategic projects.
- Accurate and efficient data entry and data auditing using systems like Banner, SharePoint, Optix and iCIMS.
- Assisting employees (staff, faculty, and students) with a variety of questions and issues via AskHR, email, over the phone, and in person.
TRANSFERABLE SKILLS
- HR Student Assistants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of Human Resources projects with the ideal end-result being a strong portfolio of applicable professional experience. Project areas include:
- Data Entry and Analytics
- Benefits and Payroll Administration
- Talent Acquisition
- Service Delivery
- HR Operations
- Student EmploymentÂ

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong technology skills including knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Human Resource Management majors welcomed, but not required.
