OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Student Office Coordinator

PAY: $16.50

LOCATION: St. Paul

HOURS: 10-15 hours per week

 

JOB SUMMARY

Students in this position are primarily responsible for providing office, administrative, and operational support to faculty and staff members of the Susan S. Morrison School of Nursing (SON). This position will assist in front desk support, data management, and operational duties that support and advance the mission of the School of Nursing. In addition, this position will assist staff and faculty with office duties such as printing, copying, welcoming visitors, and projects such as event planning and admissions support.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Office support: front desk support, printing, copying, scanning, answer phones, welcoming guests and visitors and responding to general inquiries.
  • Admissions support: meeting/greeting prospects, compiling applicant materials, tagging applications, and organizing materials for committee review.
  • Operational support: answering general email inquiries, assisting with event planning and logistics.
  • Other related duties and projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
  • Strong computer and technology skills.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

OTHERS:

  • Must be available to work within core business hours (M - F, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm).
  • Must be available to work Monday or Friday to assist with admissions visits.
  • Flexibility to work around class schedule.
  • Work between 10-15 hours per week with ability to renew contract into spring semester.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
