We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. Material Handlers are responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and tracking materials and supplies to support the daily operations of the business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Package and ship parts.

· Stock assembly line for associates with required daily parts by using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, and etc.

· Assist on campus by material handling, movement of parts, along with loading and unloading of machines.

· Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness.

· Participate in annual and random cycle counts.

· Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type as well as quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.

· Confer with department supervisors/managers to determine overdue material, parts, and to inform of material status.

· Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Efficient time management skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
College coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.

· Lift up to 50 lbs.

· Bend, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb.

· Operate mechanical equipment, including forklifts, hand-power tools, pallet jacks, stock chaser, and hand carts.

· Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and OSHA approved steel toed boots.

Work Environment:

This job operates in an industrial setting on the shipping/receiving warehouse floor. This role routinely works with and around heavy machinery as well as equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
