SPRAY FOAM TECHNICIAN

Description

Position Summary:

Apply spray polyurethane foam systems (SPF) to flat or metal commercial roofs. This position involves physically demanding outdoor work using specialized spray equipment, power tools, and heavy machinery in varying weather conditions. On-the-job training is provided. Full-time position with pay based on experience.

Position Tasks:

• Apply SPF roofing systems at the appropriate rate and ratio
• Troubleshoot SPF and coatings equipment 
• Diagnose and fix sources of leaking roofs
• Assist crew with tear-offs, prepping roofs, restocking trucks, and cleaning job sites 

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a valid US driver’s license
• General knowledge of construction practices & ability to use common tools & power tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, performing physically demanding tasks.
• Must abide by OSHA safety standards at all times 
• Able to work extended hours and occasional weekends when required
• Must be 18 years or older 

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess:

• Experience / certification operating machinery such as a forklift, boom lift, or lull
• Experience spraying coatings or SPF 
• Commercial flat roofing experience
• Experience operating a coatings rig or spray foam equipment
• Painting experience
