GA Foods is seeking an experienced, results-driven Account Executive / Sales Manager for the Southeast Region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key institutional accounts, and expanding our footprint across Georgia and surrounding Southeastern states.

Your primary focus will be serving Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) under Older Americans Act (OAA) Title III C1 (Congregate Nutrition) and C2 (Home-Delivered Meals) programs, as well as Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), emergency food networks, and Medicaid waiver programs—specifically Georgia’s SOURCE and CCSP (Community Care Services Program). You will build deep relationships with case managers, agency directors, and procurement leaders to secure new contracts, optimize existing account performance, and identify strategic expansion opportunities across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development & Territory Growth

· Target & Pipeline Strategy: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across Georgia and the broader Southeast, focusing on AAAs, CBOs, non-profits, and state/county agencies.

· Waiver & State Contract Expansion: Capitalize on growth opportunities within Georgia’s Medicaid Elderly and Disabled Waiver programs (SOURCE and CCSP), positioning GA Foods as the preferred provider for home-delivered meal benefits.

· RFP & Contract Execution: Partner with internal bidding and culinary teams to respond to government RFPs, county grants, and institutional meal tenders.

· Strategic Market Intelligence: Monitor legislative shifts, state budget allocations for senior/community nutrition, and competitor activity to capture emerging market demand.

Account Management & Client Retention

· Relationship Management: Serve as the primary, trusted point of contact for AAA Executive Directors, Nutrition Coordinators, CBO leadership, and healthcare case managers.

· Program Optimization: Ensure seamless service delivery for Title III C1 (congregate) and C2 (home-delivered) programs, maintaining customer satisfaction scores and client retention above industry standards.

· Cross-Selling & Innovation: Introduce new product lines—including fresh grab-and-go meals, medically tailored menus, emergency shelf-stable kits, and produce/pantry options—to existing accounts.

· Issue Escalation & Resolution: Work closely with logistics, customer service, and manufacturing plants to proactively resolve delivery, menu, or billing inquiries.

Qualifications & Skills

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field (or equivalent sales leadership experience).

· Experience:

o 3–5+ years of successful sales, account management, or business development experience in food manufacturing, healthcare nutrition, home-delivered meals, or government contracting.

o Demonstrated experience working with Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), Title III OAA programs, or Medicaid Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waiver programs (e.g., Georgia SOURCE/CCSP).

· Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of government food procurement, CACFP/NSLP/OAA compliance standards, and Medicaid managed care ecosystems.

· Core Competencies:

o Proven track record of managing long sales cycles and government RFP processes.

o Exceptional executive presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

o Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a field-based remote environment.

o Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.

· Travel: Ability to travel up to 40–50% within Georgia and the Southeast region for client meetings, industry conferences, and operational site visits.

What We Offer

· Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Sales Incentive/Bonus Plan

· Comprehensive Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching)

· Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays

· Cell Phone & Travel/Mileage Reimbursement

· The opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on the health and independence of seniors, vulnerable communities, and military personnel across the Southeast.
