Description

Are you an HR professional who enjoys connecting talented people with meaningful work? Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking an organized, relationship-driven HR Generalist to lead day-to-day recruiting efforts while supporting benefits, leave administration, onboarding, and other HR functions.


This is a hands-on, fully on-site role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with candidates and employees, and takes pride in creating a positive experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Parc Center for Disabilities is the premier provider of life-changing services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Tampa Bay area. Our services are structured around three centers of excellence: Children’s Services, Adult Day Training, and Residential Care.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage job postings and candidate activity in the applicant tracking system
  • Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process
  • Source candidates for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions
  • Support job offers, pre-employment requirements, job fairs, and recruiting outreach
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and qualifying life events
  • Support the administration and tracking of FMLA and other employee leaves
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Track required employee training
  • Assist with employee engagement, HR records, reporting, audits, and compliance

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of direct HR operations experience
  • Strong recruiting experience, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring-manager support
  • Experience supporting employee benefits and leave administration strongly preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or high-volume environment preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities independently
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other electronic systems
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Fully on-site
  • Schedule may vary based on business needs
