Fiberglass Coatings, LLC (FGCI), a leading distributor and manufacturer of composite materials, is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver with a HazMat endorsement to join our team.
If you're looking for a driving position that allows you to stay local and be home every night, this could be a great fit. Our drivers make deliveries to commercial customers throughout Florida while providing the reliable, professional service our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Complete all deliveries as scheduled for the assigned area in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
- Inspect truck before and after trip.
- Properly track and document activity log.
- Maintains and ensures truck is clean and maintained.
- Immediately report issues or incidents.
- Abide by local and state laws.
- Adhere to safety rules, traffic laws and all company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Clean Class A Drivers’ License.
- Hazmat Endorsement required.
- One year's experience transporting hazardous materials required
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 – 75 pounds.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented.
