Job Summary

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest has a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and maintaining hotel cleanliness in accordance with Comfort Suites and Choice Hotels brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently.
Make beds according to Comfort Suites brand standards.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Dust and sanitize all furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface floors.
Restock towels, linens, toiletries, and guest room amenities.
Remove trash and replace liners.
Check rooms for maintenance concerns and report any issues immediately.
Ensure rooms are fully guest-ready before marking them as clean.
Follow all housekeeping procedures and hotel safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and work area.
Work as part of a team to complete daily assignments while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
